Photographers from X-Ray magazine are in the studio which reminds Ricky and Steve of their unfortunate looks. The makers of lifts, Schindler, are discussed, Steve wonders if it’s the same guy from Schindler’s List.

Which member of the fall is now a Radio 1 DJ is this weeks competion, Steve describes the wild night of masturbating and drinking which lays ahead of him.

Lonely Steve

Karl: I was just thinking about you in the week, and like does it worry you, I mean you sort of joke about it now and we talk about it in the office, you know like is Steve really touchy about the way he looks, you know? Steve: What's this, where'd that come from? Ricky: He's done it again. He's done you again. Karl: I was walking home the other night and I was thinking about it, and do you worry that when you're old you will be on you own? Ricky: (laughs) You did start it though, didn't ya. Steve: Well Karl I'm glad you've brought this up, I mean for me a lightweight frothy entertainment show on XFM on a Saturday afternoon is exactly the place that I want to discuss the desperate lonely future that's inevitably coming my way.

Mental Karl

Steve: Coz I mean you’re quite a simple man. Ricky: Yeah, in a nice way, you’re like Helen from Big Brother, you’re sort of nice enough. Karl: But I look normal. Ricky: Yeah well you sort of do, but you could be one of those who suddenly goes mental with a pen. Steve: Yeah just stab people through the eyes. Ricky: Yeah you sort of look normal but I really wouldn’t wanna wind you up to a point of frenzy.
