 8th November - Life's Too Short
Gervais and Merchant's new sitcom "Life's Too Short" airs on Thursday 10th November at 9.30pm on BBC2 here in the UK. In a return to their fake documentary roots the new series is based around the adventures of pint sized actor Warwick Davis. If you remember Warwick also made an appearance in 'Extras' and has starred in a host of films including 'Willow' and 'Return of the Jedi'. Like 'Extras' the show will feature many big names such as Johnny Depp, Liam Neeson and Barry from Eastenders. Karl makes a welcome return to our screens on Friday 23rd September in Sky One's 'An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List'. It’s the follow up to the hugely successful first series where Karl visited the seven wonders of the world. This time Karl will be going through the 'things to do before you die list'. Unfortunately for the round headed Manc the list has been compiled by Ricky and Steve so luckily for us he'll hate every minute. The first episode see's Karl stuck on a desert island with not even a calculator for company. 25th August - Ricky in Family Guy!
Ricky Gervais is delighted to have landed a cameo role in the hugely successful animated comedy ‘Family Guy’. Gervais said: "Family Guy is my favourite show at the moment. I watch two a night and I'm slightly obsessed”. Ricky is a huge fan of Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane saying "It was such a joy working with the team and I really like the way my character looks too." Little is known about the episode that Ricky will be appearing in except that he will be playing a dolphin who moves into the fictional town of Quahog where the cartoon takes place. Family Guy is shown on the Fox Network in the US and BBC3 here in the UK. |
